Parks

Saranac Lake has an extraordinary park system for such a small village. There’s an amazing band of volunteers who have kept our parks, plantings, and thoroughfares in wonderful shape since 1910.

Our parks were brought into being by dedicated volunteers, working from a plan by the same firm which designed Central Park in New York City.

SIMPLE SCENERY

There’s an herb garden, an arboretum, a rose garden, and even one offering WiFi. From long meandering strolls to a bench under a tree, we have gardens that will relax and refresh!

EASY FOR ANYONE

From little kids to fragile seniors, our park system offers everyone a way to enjoy the outdoors.
