The Love List by Norm Foster. In this very funny and thought-provoking comedy, Leon and Bill concoct a list of attributes of the ideal woman - the top ten best qualities in a mate. When this allegedly "Ideal Woman" actually arrives on the scene, the men quickly learn that their list could use a few revisions. The Love List opens Friday June 8, runs through June 22nd. Marjorie Prime by Jordan Harrison, as our second play of the season. In this 2015 Pulitzer Prize Finalist, it’s the age of artificial intelligence, and 85-year-old Marjorie —whose memory is fading — has a handsome new companion who’s programmed to feed the story of her life back to her. This fascinating play explores the mysteries of human identity and the limits — if any — of what technology can replace. Marjorie Prime opens Friday June 29, runs through July 14. This summer’s Camp Pendragon & the Family Show is Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr –the classic tale of Belle and an arrogant young prince who is turned into a hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. Beauty & the Beast Jr opens July 20, runs through July 29. Shows are July 20 and 21 at 7:00, July 22 matinee, matinees 24, 25, 26, evenings at 7:00 on 27, 28.
I Hate Hamlet. The comedy, by Paul Rudnick, follows successful television actor Andrew Rally as he struggles with taking on the dream role of Hamlet, dealing with a chaste, Shakespeare loving girlfriend, and playing host to the ghost of John Barrymore, who, clothed as Hamlet, has come back to earth for the sole purpose of convincing Rally to play the part. Our Fall Classic and touring show is Sense and Sensibility - based on the beloved novel by Jane Austen, Kate Hammill's fresh adaptation follows the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters after their father’s sudden death leaves them financially destitute and socially vulnerable.
