Fowler's Crossing

Fowler’s Crossing is a good place to search for birds during the spring and summer.

An old railroad bed, it's lined with brushy habitat which can be productive for warblers and other songbirds in migration It is also bordered by a marsh where species like American Bittern can be found.

Smaller upland trails take birders through mixed pine and deciduous forests which are home to species like Pine Warbler, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, and Blue-headed Vireo.
