Cross-Country Skiing

Cross Country skiing is excellent at Dewey Mountain. Most trails are groomed wide for skating while others are tracked for traditional skiers. We have terrain for the novice and also for the experienced. Night under the lights races run on Tuesday from December through Feburary, weather permitting.

Snowshoeing

Dewey Mountain has designated snow shoe trails and trails which are shared with cross-country skiers. You may stay on the lower flat trails, for an easy exercise in the woods or head up to the top of the mountain to get away from it all.

Nature Walks

Our nature walks are self-guided walks through the woods on Dewey Mt. The distance of the walk is 3/4 of a mile and it takes around 45 minutes, depending on your walking speed. You'll get a map to guide you through the mapped out trail. If you have any questions call (518) 891- 2697. We are open from 12:00pm - 5:00pm, seven days a week.

Hiking and Cross Country Running

For both hiking and cross country running, Dewey Mt. has wooded trails, varied terrain, and 15km of off-season skiing and snowshoeing trails. So, you can enjoy a nice slow relaxing hike or if your more the athletic type you can get your heart rate up on our cross-country running trails.
