$25/Adult, $15/child

Join VIC Naturalists for a guided paddle on Barnum Pond via Barnum Brook. This two-hour program starts with a brief walk to our dock and includes at least one hour on the water. This is a perfect way to spend the morning for both novice and experienced paddlers. The boat, life vest, and paddle are all provided.

Dates: Saturdays and Sundays in June; then every Wednesday through Sunday July and August
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Who: Ages 5 and up. Youth (ages 5-17) must be accompanied by one adult for every two youth. No prior experience necessary
Cost: $25 for one adult; $15 per child (ages 5 – 16). Boats can include up to 2 adults and 2 children. Current Friends of VIC receive a 20% discount
Max Participants: 5 boats available; boats may include one to three adults; up to 2 adults and 2 children. Boats with children must have adult from their own party in the boat.
More details: Cost includes life vest, paddle, boat, and guide service. Please register in advance as programs can fill quickly. Program runs rain or shine but may be cancelled by the VIC in case of severe weather. VIC-approved life vests must be worn by all participants for the entire duration of the paddle, no exceptions.
Cancellation Policy: Please note that PSC VIC workshops and programs may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Strong winds and/or thunderstorms may cause this program to be cancelled.
