Santa's Lighted Fire Truck Parade

Fri, 12/08/2017 6:00 pm

This is great fun and a great way to start the holiday season. Sponsored by Home Energy of Saranac Lake.

The parade has its roots with an annual event in Saranac Lake where Santa was delivered with a fire truck escort to the town hall to meet with area children. Today Santa is still delivered but his procession has grown into a full fledged competition drawing all the local fire departments and has included departments from as far away as Plattsburgh.

The parade will kick off at 6:00pm on Friday December 8th. The parade can be viewed all along Broadway to Main Street. Starting at the corner of Van Buren Street & Broadway and ends at the Harrietstown Town Hall, 39 Main Street.
