Brook trout is the attraction of this delightful little pond, a little under ten acres of clear water. So clear, in fact, that the trout can see you better than you might think! Evasive strategies, like sky colors if fishing from the middle, and green near shore, will pay off.
The depth is an average of only 14 feet, but the maximum depth is a hearty 38 feet.
Stocked with 250-500 brook trout each spring. Rumor is that there are wily ones up to 20 inches.
Access via the Little Long Pond portage, southern end, about 200 yards.
NO baitfish allowed. No motors.
