Directions to Access Points:

From the intersection of Route 3 and Route 86 in Saranac Lake follow Route 86 toward Paul Smiths. Continue to the intersection of Route 186 and follow Route 186 toward Lake Clear. Continue for just under 2-miles to McMasters Road on the left. Follow McMasters Road to the railroad tracks and park here. 

Shoreline Fishing:

Shoreline fishing is restricted to the boat access carry down. 

Boat access:

No boat access unless you carry or cart your boat the 0.6 miles to the carry down on the SW shore. This is the best mode for fishing this pond where the depth is a bit deeper.  

Fish Species Types:

Northern Pike, Bullhead, panfish, smallmouth bass

Special Regulations:

Much of the shoreline is private property, please follow the private property regulations outlined above.
