Saranac Laboratory Museum

Owned and operated by Historic Saranac Lake, the Saranac Laboratory Museum features exhibits on local history, science and patient care.

The museum is open year-round, Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 - 4:00, and Saturdays, Memorial Day through Columbus Day.

Admission is $5, members and children are free of charge. Weekly tours are offered through the summer season of area historic sites.

Historic Saranac Lake also oversees the Bartok Cabin, where the great composer spent the last summer of his life. Tours of the cabin are provided by appointment.
