Camp Hatteras

Find your perfect Adirondack getaway at Camp Hatteras. Located on 33 acres of private forest, just 7 miles north of Paul Smith’s College, this beautiful chalet sits in the middle of a pristine pine woodland. Camp Hatteras sleeps up to 8 with three bedrooms, a loft, a completely-stocked kitchen, two full bathrooms, and laundry machines. The open floor plan features large windows which allow light in while drawing your gaze out to the surrounding nature.

Enjoy miles of trails that can be walked, skied, snowshoed, or mountain biked. The trail system includes access to a lean-to atop a sledding hill, cliffs, and wetlands that are great for birding or stargazing. In the winter, the wood stove casts a cheery glow over the living room and kitchen, while summer guests enjoy meals on the deck or screened porch. Whether you spend the evening by a campfire roasting s’mores or cozying up inside with a good book, Camp Hatteras is perfect for families, friends, couples and business retreats.

Your hosts, Sheila and Bob, are an Adirondack native and former professional wilderness guide. Between the two of them, good advice – connecting you to great experiences and unique destinations – is the real deal. The temporary use of their brains is complimentary!
