Galleries and visual arts in Saranac Lake

Our Cool art scene!

Every season is the perfect season to visit one of Saranac Lake's many galleries! As the colder air takes hold, there's nothing more delightful than warming up with a glass of wine as you browse our many galleries and watch our artists at work. When warm weather settles into the region many of our artists head outdoors to paint the gorgeous Adirondack landscape.

Keep an eye out for our traditional Friday gallery openings, where new work is unveiled every month. Check this blog post to learn more about how to have fun at the art opening.

Our walkable downtown has many welcoming nooks and crannies. Our galleries delight and our shops beckon. Discover how we make art a living and breathing part of this community.

Many of our shops carry local Adirondack handicrafts.
