Follensby Clear Pond to Round Pond

Put in at the boat launch and start a paddle course which is along the shore to the north. If this is your objective for the day, be aware the paddle on Follensby Clear Pond is very minimal so take time to play around or visit a couple other carries.

The carry for Round Pond (unofficial name) is less than 0.5 miles along the shore. The carry is not marked or signed at the water’s edge. You will need to look for a small washed out area along the shore and a sign on a large pine pointing out “no camping.” The carry is directly behind this tree. The carry leads through an open hardwood forest on a flat course. The shore of Round Pond will be roughly 0.3 miles from Follensby Clear Pond.
