This crystalline lake and quiet shoreline is a wonderful spot for a part-day paddle, or as a destination for a longer trip through Lake Flower and Oseetah Lake. It is 282 acres in size so there is plenty to explore! There are ducks, eagles, egrets, and the rare Bullocks oriole, along with abundant fish and butterflies in season.
While motorcraft is allowed, this lake is less traveled than the main boating routes. The lake shore is a mix of private holdings and undeveloped state land.
It can be reached from the Lake Flower downtown boat launch. Alternately there is a launch at the lake itself, owned by the shore owners association. Be respectful of the fact that this launch is between two private homes, and parking should be along the roadside. Small trailer or hand launch, only.
