Lower St. Regis Lake

Lower Saint Regis Lake is the access lake to a large region of gorgeous paddling. The narrows that access the lake is some of the most scenic paddling in the region and are a destination themselves. A lean-to is located in the narrows as well as on the southwestern shore of the lake. Paul Smiths College is located on the northern shore where a direct launch into the lake is located as well, but the narrows again should not be missed. More narrows are on the southern shore as you access further to Spitfire Lake.
