Middle Saranac Lake to Lake Flower

This is a full day, 14 mile paddle mixed with open lake flatwater and gentle rivers.

Put-In: At the South Creek Boat Launch on Middle Saranac Lake, off of Route 3 (towards Tupper Lake). Once in the water turn right out of the boat launch and follow the river downstream. Print and bring a map (laminate or water proof pouch.)
Paddle through the lower locks, which connect with Lower Saranac Lake.

End up downtown Saranac Lake with great shopping and dining possibilities! Paddle right back to your room, explore our waterfront lodging options and ask about Lake Flower access.

South Creek Boat Launch: Hand launching. Parking for 20 cars. This DEC webpage lists all Saranac Lakes Area Boat Launches.
