Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Pleased to Announce

 2007 Spring Fling Lottery Winners

 

 

SARANAC LAKE (NY) -  The Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of its 4rd Annual $pring Fling Raffle.  Winning the $10,000 Grand Prize were Deb McGillis and Steven “Shorty” Ahrensfield of Saranac Lake.  Second through seventh prizes were awarded as follows:  $1,000 Second Prize – Terry Buckley of Saranac Lake; $750 Third Prize – Jewel Foley of Saranac Lake; $500 Fourth Prize – Elaine Dewer and Steven “Shorty” Ahrensfield of Saranac Lake; $250 Fifth Prize – Mary Smith of Saranac Lake; $250 Sixth Prize –Leni & Carl Sorenson, June Sweitzer, Linda Rysedorph and Marti Hadley, all of Saranac Lake; and $250 Seventh Prize – Mike Kilroy of Saranac Lake.

 

The raffle drawing took place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hotel Saranac on Friday, May 17, 2007.  Entertainment was provided courtesy of Mr. DJ.  Many door prizes were also awarded to those present at the drawing.  Several generous businesses donated door prize items, including Alice Vera Photography, Owl’s Next Pizza, Pink, Bear Essentials, Scotts Florist, St. Regis Canoe Outfitters, T.F. Finnigan, Rice Furniture, Snap Shot Photo, and Mountain Gift & Powder Company.  Media sponsors included Mountain Communications and The Adirondack Daily Enterprise.    

 

Proceeds from the raffle will be used by the Chamber to fund events, programs and initiatives throughout the year.  Participants did not need not be present to win.  The raffle is NYS Licensed.
