Parking Limited to 2 Hours in Downtown Saranac Lake

SARANAC LAKE (NY) – The signs along Saranac Lake’s downtown streets indicate that parking is limited to two hours.  As of May 1, the time limit is now monitored by a new Village of Saranac Lake parking attendant and violators will be ticketed for their parking infraction.

Downtown business owners and employees are therefore encouraged to park in the village parking lot located along the Saranac River and accessible through Dorsey Street.  Parking is also allowed in areas where there are no posted signs limiting parking to the two-hour limit.

Drivers violating the two-hour parking limit will be ticketed by the parking attendant.   According to Saranac Lake Village Manager, violation fees will range between $10 and $30.

For more information, please contact the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce at 518-891-1990 or by e-mail at info@saranaclake.com
