Many farmers sell year-round through farm stores and indoor winter markets, but the warmer months, specifically summer and fall, are when the outdoor markets take to the parks and other outdoor public spaces where people come together for good, fresh food and Adirondack-inspired crafts straight from the producers.

Summer Market

Riverside Park every Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., from June to mid-October.

Fall Market

At the Hotel Saranac, located 100 Main Street in downtown Saranac Lake. Called the "Farmers Park-it", the fall/winter market runs through the end of December every Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Fresh off the Farm

The small farms movement is taking over in the Adirondacks and we couldn’t be happier. All four seasons bring different local products to the table, whether it’s luscious heirloom tomatoes in the height of summer or hearty root vegetables in the depths of winter.

The farmers markets are more than just food, though. They are spaces where community and travelers alike come out for live music, local art, and of course, locally grown food. It’s fun for the whole family and a great way to experience the Adirondacks!
