 Interest and participation continues to grow with the Tupper Lake Flat Water Weekend canoe and kayak races. The races organized by the Adirondack Arc, with the cooperation of the Tupper Lake Chamber of Commerce, attracted competitors from as far away as New Jersey and Vermont to compete in Saturday's nine mile, and Sunday's 40 mile events.
The Adirondack Arc 9 miler starts at the Route 3/30 Boat launch. Paddlers follow the river downstream to the Route 30 Bridge before turning left to finish at the Tupper Lake Rod and Gun Club.
