Gas is available at many gas stations throughout town, with close proximity to the Adirondack Rail Trail. Charlie's Inn in Lake Clear offers drive-up gas along the trail without the need to trailer your sled.

What if I don't own a sled?

Interested in renting? There are rental services and guided trips available at businesses like Sara-Placid Sled and Spoke, Farmhouse Snowmobile, and Charlie's Inn.

Are there places to eat along the Adirondack Rail Trail?

Yes, many of the local bars and restaurants are in close proximity to the trail, with several businesses offering immediate access, such as Belvedere Restaurant, Hotel Saranac, The 1892 Bar and Grill, and Charlie's Inn.

Corridors 7 and 7B

The Corridor 7 trail follows the Adirondack Rail Trail through Gabriels, Rainbow Lake, and Onchiota. This is mostly a flat and level route, with a variety of different ecosystems. Midway through the route is Charlie's Inn and Lake Clear. The total mileage of this trail is 41.47 miles.

The Corridor 7B trail is level and flat, taking riders between different mountain ranges. The total mileage of this trail is 26.95 miles.
