Harrietstown, N.Y. - The Adirondack Regional Airport is pleased to announce the return of Hertz Rent-A-Car to their list of services.
Hertz was encouraged to return after a year’s absence from the location as a result of the efforts of a coalition that includes the Harrietstown Town Board, regional tourism businesses and airport management.
"We at Hertz have serviced the Adirondack Area since the 1960's and are very excited to resume rentals again,” said Alex Dolly, director of sales and business development at Herz. “With the continued support of Harrietstown, the Adirondack Regional Airport, ROOST and local businesses we are confident in our ability to bring back the unparalleled service we provide. We look forward to reestablishing any previous business relationships, and of course, developing new ones.”
“We are pleased to welcome Hertz back to the facility here in Harrietstown,” said Corey Hurwitch, airport manager. “This service is an essential amenity for visitors to the area, second homeowners, private aircraft owners and charter customers."
With a small initial fleet of vehicles, Hertz Rent-A-Car will have an on-site staffed office at the airport beginning July 5, at which time online reservations will be available as well. “We’re confident that business volume will ultimately require a significant increase in the onsite Hertz fleet,” added Hurwitch.
The Adirondack Regional Airport is owned and operated by the Town of Harrietstown, N.Y. For more information about all available services, Cape Air Commercial airline schedules, information and booking links visit adirondackairport.com.
