Fish Hatchery Loop

The ride follows State Route 3 past Lower Saranac Lake, with beautiful views of Crescent Bay and Pope Bay. Turn off on County Route 45, passing a peaceful lily pond and up a short climb.

LENGTH: 72 mile loop.

DIRECTIONS: Left, leaving the visitor center, along River Street to Main, then to Broadway, and up Route 86. Swing over to Route 30 to the Fish Hatchery. Then, take Route 30 past the Saranac Lake chain, and take Route 3 back to Saranac Lake.
