Adirondack Plein Air Festival - Paint the VIC Day

Tue, 08/18/2020 12:00 am

Day 2 of the Adirondack Plein Air Festival: the artists are invited to spend the day painting at the Paul Smith's College VIC.

While there are miles of trails, there are some great painting opportunities within a short walk from the building and parking lot.

The Barnum Brook and Heron Marsh trails both provide many great views. The trails along Black Pond, a short drive to a different section of VIC property, are also a common painting spot.

Spectators are welcome to come for a hike and watch the artists at work. There is no fee and there will be a plein air exhibit in the building celebrating the work of past artists.

The VIC trails are open dawn to dusk. For more information and a complete event schedule, visit the website.
