Bloomingdale Farmers Market

Members of the recently formed Tri-Lakes Regional Farmers Cooperative will stock the market with produce, meat and other goods from their farms located in Bloomingdale, Vermontville and the surrounding area.

The market will return every Sunday from Aug. 7 to Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Hex and Hop brewery at 1719 state Route 3. Members of the recently formed Tri-Lakes Regional Farmers Cooperative will stock the market with produce, meat and other goods from their farms located in Bloomingdale, Vermontville and the surrounding area.

“It’s a great opportunity for people to get some really fresh veggies and pastured meat from our local farms, and at the same time a way for farmers to make the most of their harvest during these abundant summer months,” said Kristin Ballou, president of the co-operative. “We hope that it will be a place for the community to share in some of the surplus of the season and connect with the farmers in their neighborhoods.”

The market will be open every Sunday through the months of August and September and will once again feature live music. Farmers who are not members of the co-op are welcome to get in touch to learn more about selling at this market. For questions about the market, please contact Amanda Kats at fieldkats.farm@gmail.com.

The Tri-Lakes Regional Farmers Co-operative brings together local farmers to share resources, knowledge and market opportunities. To learn more, go to trilakesregionalfarmerscooperative.com.
