Paddling Alaska Brooks Range & the Alaska Nat'l Wildlife Refuge

Wed, 06/19/2019 7:00 pm

Alaska's National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) is known for being at the epicenter of the development/preservation debate, and at over 3 times the size of the Adirondack Park, offers unparalleled wilderness paddling options, wildlife galore, and tripping options. Join local Scott McKim as he traverses up and over North America's most northerly mountain range and then paddles to the coast through ANWR, eventually ending up in the Arctic Ocean. First by small fixed-wing, then by foot and paddle, come see photos of a 120-mile trip through one of America's last remaining wildernesses. This event is part of Celebrate Paddling ADK and is free and open to the public. Fore more information: 518.891.7450.
