This is a well-supported bike ride with feed stations, port-o-johns and sag wagons. There will be a raffle and delicious BBQ, t shirts , music, and plenty of homemade pies! Proceeds benefit the youth programs of the Saranac Lake Kiwanis Club, which include free bike helmets at the annual Bike Rodeo. 1000’s of helmets have been distributed over the years.
The three main rides follow a combination of quite back roads and State routes with wide shoulders through the beautiful Adirondack Park forests and meadows north of Saranac Lake. Big scenic vistas will be had on Normans Ridge and Harrietstown Hill. This is the Adirondacks after all so there is some elevation but no steep climbs. Routes pass by several bodies of water or a river for enjoyment or a quick dip. All rides begin and end at the Mt Pisgah lodge in Saranac Lake.
