Racism Study Group - In 1927 Zora Neale Hurston interviewed the last living person who was captured and transported as cargo across the Atlantic. Known as Cudjo Lewis the 86 year old man told his story to Hurston in his own words and after many years they have finally been released to the world in the form of Barracoon. One story told, of the thousands silenced from the inside perspective of this tragic section of American history. Pick up a copy and join the discussion Mon.
