Science Book Group - What The Eyes Don’t See is a detailed account of the events surrounding the Flint Michigan Water Crisis by Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha who writes not just as a resident of Flint but as a working pediatrician deeply invested in the health of the children and community she serves. Hanna-Attisha along with many other researchers, parents, and community leaders fought against their state government and indifferent local bureaucracy to expose the disastrous conditions their city was exposed to. Come discuss with us Tues. Dec. 11 at 2pm in the Dickert Room at Saranac Lake Free Library, 109 Main Street.
