What Was Old is Now New Exhibit at NorthWind Fine Art Gallery

NorthWind Fine Arts August exhibit “What Was Old is Now New” will be featuring artists Heidi Gutersloh and Ed Williams, exhibiting new works in oil and digitally manipulated photographs.

Meet the artists!

Heidi:  August 11 & 20.

Ed:  August 13, 23 & 30.

NorthWind is located at 85 Main Street, Saranac Lake, NY.  Open daily from 10-4, closed Tuesdays.  The exhibit runs from August 4-30.

Heidi is known for the variety of her work, from beautiful bowls of eggs, to landscapes and florals, to her meaningful pet portraits she paints on commission.  For this year’s exhibit Heidi has five new pieces. She is inspired by the realism of old masters, and describes her paintings as an extension of herself, always “real” and to the point.

Ed Williams’s distinct photos, often in black and white, make wonderful use of negative spaces.  Loons, owls, landscapes, pared down to their essential elements are a hallmark of his work.

NorthWind Fine Arts is in the heart of Saranac Lake!  We are at our new location, just 9 miles from Lake Placid.  We have plenty of parking, great restaurants, coffee shops, and natural attractions right outside our door.  Do stop in!
