BOOK YOUR TRIP
Lake Colby Railroad Tracks

A fun little hike along the railroad tracks that separate Lake Colby from Little Colby Pond.

Trailhead: Park at the Saranac Lake Civic Center and take Short Street to the railroad tracks. Follow the tracks north and west (left out of town) to the Lake Colby crossing. This is not used by the regular railroad, but Rail Explorer cars will take this route to the train depot. Keep alert to give them the right of way.
