Saranac Lake — The public is invited to a meeting on April 17 to learn about the work completed to date on creating a brand message for the Saranac Lake region, and to solicit feedback on the project.
The meeting, hosted by the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST) and the Brand Study Advisory Panel, begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Saranac Lake ROOST office, located at 193 River Street.
ROOST, the destination marketing organization responsible for promoting the region as a travel destination, spearheaded the brand study last fall with the end goal of building a unified message that increases awareness of the community for both tourism and economic development. To date, the process has included community stakeholder and public meetings, and a survey sent to both residents and visitors, to see how Saranac Lake is perceived both by those who live there and travelers.
The presentation will consist of the survey results and preliminary concepts developed by the Brand Study Advisory Panel. Attendees are encouraged to give feedback on the concepts.
