NorthWind Fine Arts

NorthWind Fine Arts Gallery opened its doors in June, 2011, and is one of the many exceptional art galleries in Saranac Lake. It is a cooperative member gallery that currently consists of 9 regional artists showcasing a wide range of media. The gallery moved into its new location, 11 Woodruff Street (formerly Ampersound) in downtown Saranac Lake in November, 2013.

Member artists: HEIDI GUTERSLOH: oil paintings; CATHY HARTUNG: watercolor and acrylic painting; CATHARINE HAYES MOORE: watercolor; KRISTINA MUELLER: Jeweler/Metalsmith; CARL RUBINO: Interpretive, Impressionistic and Abstract Landscape and Urban Photography; LEE ANN SPORN: encaustic, watercolor, pencil drawings and oil painting; SUSAN WHITEMAN: pastels; ED WILLIAMS: landscape and nature photography; DAVID WOODWARD: metal sculpture and blacksmith arts.

Stop by to view the latest works by these Adirondack artists. There is a new featured artist or group exhibit each month, and the gallery hosts an opening reception (free to the public) on the first Friday of each month, from 5-7 pm. This is a great time to relax and meet the artists, and perhaps take home an original creation.
