What's cool this Fall
Summer in Saranac Lake is a festival in itself. The village has created a seemingly endless stream of events and happenings in the parks, on the water and in the Historic Downtown area. Celebrating the arts, recreation, health & wellness and history, the great outdoors and the seasonal beauty and rugged landscape of the region are high on the agenda of this historic Adirondack village.
Arts & Theatre
Cultural events in Saranac Lake are numerous as the Village has become the hub of arts for the entire region. Art galleries abound and the village is filled with a large population of well-known Adirondack artists whose works are celebrated at many events throughout the season. Historic talks and art openings help round out cultural offerings, and Pendragon Theatre offers a full schedule of performances throughout the summer months.
Birds & fun in nature
Join in at the Paul Smith’s Visitor Interpretive Center (VIC) for the seasonal Teddy Roosevelt Bird Walks, held throughout the summer. The VIC also offers a wide range of programming events, children's activities and nature walks.
As summer winds down in Saranac Lake, some of our summer traditions continue into the fall season, including Third Thursday Art Walks and the Saturday Farmers Markets in Riverside Park. Arts will still play a major role with concerts at The Waterhole and Pendragon performances.
Don't miss out
