DEC  First Night: New Year's Eve- usher in the new year with a family celebration of joy, community and hope. 

FEB Winter Carnival:10 Days of winter fun, including the fantastic Ice Palace. 

MAR Colby Classic Ice Fishing Derby - first weekend in March.

MAR Cabin Fever Film Festival: March - A fun cure for late winter blues - classic films for the whole family. 

MAR Annual Chamber "Ice-Out" Raffle - Buy tickets - guess the time the Pink Chair will go through the ice! 

MAR Maple Weekends! Mid March - Paul Smith's College VIC

APR/MAY Daffest: Sometimes there is still snow - but we celebrate the arrival of the Daffodils at the end of April with a great party! 

JUN "Great Adirondack Birding Festival" - first weekend in June; birdwalks, lectures, displays, Paul Smith's College VIC

JUNE-SEPT "3rd Thursday ArtWalks" : live music, artist demos, special exhibits and events throughout the community, 5 - 7:30 

JUNE/JULY The Adirondack Arts & Heritage Festival: More than 50 events in 10 days that celebrate our various "arts". 

JULY Willard Hanmer Guideboat Races: Commemorating the life of Willard Hanmer, the preeminent Guideboat builder of his era, with displays and races right in the Village on Lake Flower and the Saranac River. 

JUL/AUG Summer Outdoor Concert Series tbd

JULY 4th of July Celebration: lots of outdoor fun for the whole family, culminating with the traditional fireworks display. 

JUL Lake Clear Day, Runabout Rondezvous, Adirondack Rocking Festival, Martha Reben Day: celebrate the past at Charlie's Inn, classic boats on parade, rocking for relaxation, and local history.

JULY/AUG The Can-Am Rugby Tournament: late July/early August - one of the largest rugby events in the world with 100+ teams competing. 

AUG  The Saranac Lake Block Party: the 1st Thursday in August. Main Street gets closed off for display booths, food concessions and demos, kids activities and more.  

AUG The Adirondack Plein Air Festival: 3rd Weekend in August - artists from all over the country converge on Saranac Lake to paint the Adirondacks! 

SEPT Farm 2 Fork Festival: Labor Day Saturday - A celebration of our small farms and local food abundance. 

SEPT Hobofest: Labor Day Sunday - an all-day, outoor celebration of music, food, and the railroad culture. 

SEPT Chefs and Farmers: Taste the Adirondacks - the Saturday after Labor Day. Local chefs prepare foods made with local products. 

SEPT The Adirondack Canoe Classic - 90 Miler: Old Forge to Saranac Lake, the weekend after Labor Day . 

SEPT The Artist at Work Studio Tour: the last weekend in September - tour studios of 50+ artists. Experience Peak Fall Colors! 

DEC Sparkle Village Arts & Crafts Fair: first weekend in December, sponsored by the Chamber.
