Winter Events to Keep You Toasty all Season Long
Late winter events in the Saranac Lake region focus on a lot of outdoor family fun
and this year is no exception! From ice fishing derbies to live music and XC skiing, we’ll keep you hopping during your visit.
The Paul Smith Visitor Interpretive Center is alive with events this year and birding, snowshoeing and XC skiing are at the top of the list. Be sure to pay them a visit. One of the highlights at the VIC is the Sunday Afternoon Live Music and Ski Series. Get out and glide around the VIC trails and then kick back for some awesome entertainment in the VIC main building.
There are cultural, dining, sporting and many more genres of events all over the area. If you like ice fishing with the family, skinny on over to Lake Colby on March 1st for the Colby Classic Ice Fishing Derby and throw in a hook. Fun for everyone!
Get ready for spring!
It’s not too soon to think about our Spring events, including the every-growing Daffest in Saranac Lake. The 10 day celebration of the Daffodil is filled with events from pie eating contests to a good old American soap box derby.
