It's an exciting time to be here

Saranac Lake is home to more than 5,000 people, and thanks to its creative spirit and welcoming atmosphere, the village is constantly evolving. This is a place where people are truly invested in the community, and it shows. Their contributions help make Saranac Lake better for both residents and visitors, from improving infrastructure to attracting new people, events, and ideas. It’s why you’ll find free live music throughout the week every summer. It’s why our parks feel both relaxing and inspiring. It’s why our menus are crafted by world-class chefs. And it’s why artists come here to visit galleries and paint the landscape. We’re decidedly different and proudly determined—so don’t just visit. Become part of something vibrant and growing!

Big things are happening in Saranac Lake. From the heart of downtown to the wild edges of the Adirondacks, our community is investing in bold, meaningful projects that celebrate creativity, history, and connection to nature.
