Arts in Saranac Lake
A creative community

A thriving arts scene

Saranac Lake is a magnet for creative individuals, which is why visitors can find art around every corner, sometimes in the unlikeliest of places. Artists past and present have left their marks by painting, collaging, photographing, assembling, writing, and sculpting, and we are the better for it.

Start by taking a look in our galleries, restaurants, and shops and you’ll see an array of visual art pieces that range from plein air to contemporary. Step outside and keep your eyes peeled — you’re likely to find a mural, sidewalk art, or a gigantic metal lawn serpent!

Pendragon Theatre is an award-winning professional theatre and the only year-round professional repertory in the Adirondacks. They offer a full range of live and online performances like revived Broadway classics, family-friendly plays, and seasonal offerings. BluSeed Studios also offers virtual events, contemporary art shows, and much more.
