Saranac Lake is a hub for cycling, with a variety of terrain extending to every horizon. There are long straightaways through farm country, twisting backroads that wind and dip through lush forests, and plenty of wide open views across lakes and valleys that are ringed by mountains.

Looking for sweet paved pathways nestled deep in the backcountry wilderness? The Adirondack Rail Trail offers 34 miles of multi-use trail, connecting the scenic communities of Lake Placid, Ray Brook, Saranac Lake, Lake Clear, and Tupper Lake! In between all of the vistas there are amenities to keep you well-rested and fueled for the next adventure.
