2016 TOP 3 BLOGS IN REVIEW

We scoured our blogs for the most popular, most informative, and just downright oddest pieces from the past year. In case you missed them when they were first published, here are our top three picks from the Saranac Lake Region. Enjoy!

3) Five cool fall views

There are many, many places to view our spectacular autumn foliage. In the interest of easy access, we've narrowed it down to these five favorites for fabulous leaf-peeping - each one has a special attraction.

Name that view!

2) History is cool

When it was announced that the Hotel Saranac would open again, with a classic refurbishment befitting its historic landmark status, the entire village was thrilled. Out of thirteen hotels which once flourished in town, Hotel Saranac —  the first "fully fireproof" hotel in the North Country — is the only one left. Ready for your cool hotel history lesson?

Welcome back!

1) Cool as ice

In winter, our friendly forests grow hushed with snow, and our lovely lakes freeze over. We are dedicated to having fun all year 'round, and that includes a few creative options. Have you participated in these cool icy activities?

We know how to have fun with ice!
