Sumner Brook

A lovely place to flyfish. Sumner Brook is stocked with brown trout every spring.

There are two access points along Oregon Plains Road in Bloomingdale.

It winds off the Saranac River, between Routes 3 & 18, to wind up under the bridge in the Town of Bloomingdale. It crosses East Main Street after taking a right at the four way stop (coming from Saranac Lake) and crosses State Street to the west, under another bridge.

It runs parallel to Oregon Plains Road, heading north, and joins TwoBridge Brook.
