Prescott House

Built in 1905, as the Reception Hospital, the Prescott House is a beautiful brick colonial located on 2.3 acres at the top of Helen Hill in a very peaceful and scenic setting in Saranac Lake.

Fifteen rooms are available for nightly/weekly or monthly rentals.   Options include rooms for double occupancy with two twin beds, two queen beds or one queen bed.  Triple occupancy with one queen bed and one twin bed is also available.    Our private rooms have the option of either a shared bath or a ensuite private bath.    Many are equipped with a mini fridge/microwave and all rooms have HD TVs with cable and high speed wireless internet.

The Prescott House has a communal kitchen, laundry, porches, pool table & ping pong table as well as a comfortable parlor offering coffee and tea.

Once serving as a healing center for the influx of tuberculosis patients, the Prescott House is now a comfortable, convenient location for those interested in the history of the Adirondacks & Saranac Lake/Lake Placid Area as well as those looking to experience many of the outdoor activities our region has to offer including skiing, hiking the High Peaks/Saranac Lake 6ers/Lake Placid 9ers & fishing/canoeing/kayaking.
