Theatre
Pendragon Theatre is the only year-round theatre in the Adirondack Park. This professional theatre brings award-winning live performances to Saranac Lake and enjoys a great following.
Music
Music flourishes in Saranac Lake! From "Open Mic" sessions and live music in many different venues, to concerts in our magnificent and historical Town of Harrietstown Auditorium, there is always music to be found. The Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce brings music to the park in its annual Summer Concert Series, which kicks off on July 4th.
Local History
History buffs will enjoy walking tours led by Historic Saranac Lake, visiting the Robert Louis Stevenson Cottage, renowned author of Treasure Island, the Bela Bartok cabin, exploring the "Adirondack Room" in the Saranac Lake Free Library, or walking the grounds of The White Pine Camp, where Calvin Cooledge had his summer white house. Less than an hour away is the Adirondack Museum at Blue Lake, what a great place to spend the day with family!
