Arts & Culture in Saranac Lake
Adirondack Galleries, Theaters, Live Entertainment & More!

While visiting Saranac Lake discover the area’s many indoor treasures through Saranac Lake's galleries, studios, workshops, and art openings, and choose unique and heartfelt gifts from the many venues in our walkable town and village.

Here, there's something to delight every sense, from the creations of local visual artists who work magic with a paintbrush or capture the beauty of the area through a lens, to the tactile richness of hand formed pottery. Enjoy a show at Pendragon Theatre or view the art at one of our many galleries. Explore the nightlife Saranac Lake has to offer with cocktails and dining, or just the simple pleasures of a warm hot chocolate after the crisp autumn air. Don’t be shy! Attend an art opening and mingle with the artists. They love to talk about their work.

As the Adirondack's coolest place, we revel in the brightening colors of autumn. With the incredible backdrop of lakes and mountains and our uniquely New England mix of trees, we might just have the very best fall color anywhere. Look for the scarlet flame of maple, the bright red of northern hardwood, the bronzes of oaks and hickory, and the gold of aspens and birches. This glorious display has inspired many of our local artists. It’s a great way to take the memories home. Discover the area’s complete calendar of art events.
