Lake Colby Beach
Lake Colby is home to the Village of Saranac Lake's public beach. It is located just outside of downtown, has a lifeguard on duty, and bathroom available. Lake Colby does not allow large motorboats, so this beach is a perfect place for a relaxing day near the water and kids will love playing the warm, shallow waters.
The beach also features new accessibility upgrades, including a wheelchair-friendly path and temporary accessible changing area, with more permanent upgrades planned for the future to make the beach enjoyable for all.
Getting there
Located off of Route 86, across from the Hospital.
