Join us for the world premiere “See It Here First” of a dark comedy that’s equal parts hilarious and heartfelt.
When an overly prepared solo hiker and an unprepared couple are unexpectedly thrown together in a rustic lean-to deep in the woods, what begins as an awkward night of shared shelter slowly turns into something more. Between Britney Spears singalongs, borrowed gear, and dreams of escaping city life for the weekend, strangers begin to find unexpected common ground.
But as the fire burns and the night stretches on, the warmth in the shelter isn’t the only thing building—something more volatile begins to take shape.
Part comedy, part tender drama, LEAN-TO explores our deep need for connection, and the quiet loneliness that often sits just beneath the surface.
Following its Pendragon run, this production has been invited for an Off-Broadway presentation in September 2026.
