Meals with Meaning
Join us on Thursday, July 30, 2026, as the Saranac lake community comes together for the inaugural Meals with Meaning - Saranac Lake, a day centered on community, generosity and great local food.
Take a meaningful step toward eliminating childhood hunger right here in Saranac Lake by dining at one of our participating restaurants. Throughout the day, participating restaurants will generously donate 20% of dine-in and take-out sales to support the Fieldstone Foundation's Backpack Program in the Saranac Lake Central School District.
Earlier this year, the Fieldstone Foundation Partnered with the Saranac Lake Central School District to continue the Backpack Program, ensuring that 77 local elementary school children continued receiving nutritious weekend meals throughout the school year. These meals help ensure children return to school on Monday, nourished, focused, and ready to learn.

Can't make it on July 30th, but still want to support? There are many ways to make an impact. A donation of any amount is always gratefully accepted. You can Adopt-A-Child for only $125, which sponsors meals for a child for the entire school year. We have many options available, including the option to set up a monthly contribution, which you can explore by visiting our website at fieldstonefoundation.net/donate.
