Saranac Lake Cocktail Classic Regatta

Introducing the Inagural Saranac Lake Cocktail Classic Regatta. Saranac Lake has a long history of boat racing and outdoor competitive events from Inboard boat racing in the 1920's and 30's, Guideboat and Canoe racing annually since the 1960's, Hydroplane racing and Bathtub racing in the 70's and so on. Cocktail Classics are based on a 1939 wooden boat design and run 6hp or 8hp outboard engines. We will also have a display of old hydroplanes and a display of antique outboard engines from the AOMCI club.
