Join us for a 3hour hands-on care experience as we reconnect to these ancient afterdeath care practices of vigil and body care.

History and context of traditional and modern after death care practices
NYS after death care rights and options
Storytelling
Experiential learning through:
Co-creating a soothing vigil environment
Practice body care- washing, cooling, shrouding
Working with ceremony
Opportunity to bring resolution and healing from past loss

When: Sunday, July 26th 10am-1pm
