DIVE IN: Watercolors by Michael Burpoe

Experience DIVE IN, a new watercolor exhibition by Saranac Lake artist Michael Burpoe, the inaugural featured artist at the Berkeley Dive. Through a collection of Adirondack-inspired paintings, Burpoe celebrates the people, traditions, gatherings, and everyday moments that continue to shape life in the Adirondacks.

Born and raised in Saranac Lake, Burpoe creates watercolor works both en plein air and in the studio, drawing inspiration from local culture and community. His exhibition reflects on the evolving identity of the Adirondacks and the importance of preserving traditions while embracing new ideas and perspectives.

DIVE IN invites visitors to connect with the stories, places, and people that make the region unique and to consider their own role in shaping its future. As Burpoe writes, fulfillment can be found when you simply "dive in."
