Saranac Lake 4th of July Community Festival
Join us on Saturday, July 4th at Riverside Park in Saranac Lake for an afternoon and evening filled with family fun, food, music, community, and fireworks as we celebrate 250 years of America. Bring your family, lawn chairs, and friends, and spend Independence Day in the heart of the Adirondacks.
Festival begins at 3:00 PM
Free community BBQ, courtesy of the Whiteface Mountain Masonic Lodge
Free Family Activities:
Bounce houses and obstacle course
Face painting
Balloon animals
Caricatures
Family games and activities
Live music:
5:30 PM: Saranac Lake singer-songwriter Emily Dowd performs feel-good original songs inspired by her love of the Adirondacks, along with a mix of folk, country, and pop covers.
6:45 PM to 8:45 PM: Saranac Lake’s own Darkside Skinny Dippers (also known as #DSkinnyD) bring high-energy rock covers, original music, and a fun, unforgettable set to Riverside Park.
Patriotic Boat Parade:
6:00pm Line-Up: Decorate your boat and join the celebration on the water. Participants should gather near VOCO for lineup.
6:45pm: The parade will depart and travel to Riverside Park, and return. Prizes will be awarded for the most patriotic entries.
National Anthem and Fireworks:
9:00 PM: Performed by Brandy Clark
Fireworks begin Immediately following the National Anthem
This free community celebration is made possible by the Whiteface Mountain Masonic Lodge, Moody Management Team, and Good Guy Productions.
Community organizations are welcome to set up informational tents. Contact organizers for details.
