High Peaks Harvest Festival on Berkeley Green

On October 18th, the annual High Peaks Harvest Festival returns for its second year running! The festival blends all of your favorite parts of fall with art, music, and local flavors. Artisans from across the region will set up shop, while you can hop from tent to tent, trying all the warm and savory, or sweet and cidery bites. Speaking of cider, seasonal craft drinks from regional breweries will be at the ready, calling for a tasting flight with friends. Live music sets the perfect backdrop for the festivities, with fun, family-friendly activities for the little ones and a farmers market to stock up on.

The Harvest Festival celebrates the seemless transition of the High Peaks Farmers' Market (Riverside Park) to its fall and winter home at the Hotel Saranac, when the market tucks inside for the colder months. The Harvest Festival happens the weekend after the Riverside Park market ends and the very next weekend, the indoor market starts!

Tucker Farm's Great Adirondack Cornmaze

Test your sense of direction (and your friendships) with the Tucker Farms Great Adirondack Cornmaze. This sprawling plot of corn transforms every fall for visitors of all ages to come and explore the maze. Open Thursday through Sunday, the maze is in operation, including additional hours on Friday and Saturday nights for “Flashlight Nights.” When you return from your dark maze adventure, the farm hosts a bonfire, s'mores and all! Note that the maze is cash only, so stopping at the ATM beforehand is a must.

Bonus: OkTUPPERfest 2025

Just a short drive from Saranac Lake, OkTUPPERfest returns to Flanders Park in Tupper Lake on September 27. Set on the picturesque Raquette Pond, the day is filled with fall festivities, with live music and hayrides (drawn by two stunning draft horses), local food, games for the kiddos, and more.

Of course, we would be remiss not to mention the brewfest taking place, featuring beloved local breweries. 2024 saw appearances from Raquette River Brewing, Valcour Brewing, 1812 Brewing Company, Northway Brewing Company, Mean Max Brew Works, and Common Roots Brewing Company; giving you the perfect opportunity to tour through the region’s flavors, all in one spot!
