Hosted by ROOST and the Olympic Authority

The Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism and Olympic Authority will host a Spring Business After Hours at the Lake Placid Conference Center on May 13, 2026 from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

This event marks an exciting step forward in the evolving partnership between ROOST and the Olympic Authority, bringing together local businesses, organizations, and professionals to strengthen collaboration and spark new opportunities across our region.

The event will begin and end with networking, but we are presenting a new format: stationed learning. There will be six stations, each covering a different topic presented by a ROOST or Olympic Authority staff member. You will spend five minutes at each station, rotating around the room and learning as you go!

Schedule

A cash bar (credit cards only) and hors d'oeuvres will be available throughout:

• 5:00–5:15 pm: Check in, networking

• 5:15–5:20 pm: Introductions & instructions

• 5:20–6:00 pm: Rotating micro learning stations (5 minutes per station)

• 6:00–6:30+pm: Networking

ROOST will introduce the Adirondacks, USA Market, an exciting new initiative designed to showcase products from locally based retail businesses and artisans launching this summer.
