About the Book
Detour Ahead follows twin sisters Gabby and Lucy as they spend their summer helping run their family’s lakeside cabin rentals in Tupper Lake. But things aren't as peaceful as the scenery suggests. Gabby is trying to find her purpose, Lucy is pushing herself as a competitive swimmer, and both girls are impacted by new friendships, old wounds, and the legacy of a mysterious civil rights activist.
